Lindsay Cameron Wilson was born in 1973 and grew up in Halifax. She studied history and journalism at the University of King's College, French at l'Universite´ d'Aix en Provence and culinary arts at George Brown College.

She worked in food television and wrote restaurant reviews in Halifax before moving to London, England, in 2001. There she worked at Books for Cooks in Notting Hill, taught and assisted cooking classes at Divertimenti freelanced as a food stylist and writer and began writing a series of cookbooks with co-author Pippa Cuthbert. They now have co-authored seven cookbooks and have sold over 300,000 copies worldwide.

Lindsay now lives in Halifax, where she freelances as a food writer, broadcaster, and food stylist.
